I am running for office because I am deeply committed to addressing the pressing issues facing our community. With a background as architectural historian working with the Florida Department of Transportation, a proud mother of three incredible children, and a graduate of the University of Florida with over two decades of residency in Gainesville, I bring a unique perspective to the table.

First and foremost, I am dedicated to improving our roads and infrastructure. Having worked in transportation design, I understand the critical importance of well-maintained roads, bridges, and sidewalks. I will advocate for smart investments in infrastructure that not only improves transportation efficiency but also enhances the overall quality of life for residents.

In addition to infrastructure, I am passionate about bringing jobs back to our community. As a long-time resident of Gainesville, I have seen firsthand the impact of job loss and economic downturns on our community. I will work tirelessly to attract businesses, promote entrepreneurship, and create job opportunities that provide stability and prosperity for all residents.

Safety is another top priority for me. As a mother, I believe that every family deserves to feel safe and secure in their own neighborhood. I will support initiatives to improve public safety, including investing in law enforcement, expanding community policing efforts, and implementing traffic calming measures to reduce accidents and protect pedestrians and cyclists.

Overall, my goal is to build a stronger, more vibrant community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. By focusing on issues such as infrastructure, job creation, and safety, I am confident that we can create a brighter future for Alachua County and its residents.
